From our early days as just an idea, to a vision brought to life in April 2018, MarulaMed owes its existence to the continuous support of the Phalaborwa Mining Company, our colleagues in the healthcare profession and families that trust us with their health.

Founded by Dr Thabo Motsoane. His vision: To bring a people centred, innovative, accessible health care service to the people of Phalaborwa.
Dr Motsoane holds a MBChB degree obtained in 2008 at University of the Witwatersrand. He has since been a dedicated servant in public and private healthcare sectors, and community building activities across the country and Phalaborwa.
